MEWA  was born on 5th of March 1996 at 8.30 PM. Though the name represents Educational and  Welfare association, MEWA is concentrating mainly on Education (research), of course on cultural too.

MEWA has an open door policy.  Anything and everything will be discussed with an open mind.  After reaching to an amicable decision on controversies, disclose the directions to the beneficiaries by way of public notice.

The Trustees of MEWA meets at least once in a month, or on emergencies. Over and above one or two Trustees (who are in active in Administration) are present in the institution all the time to give proper directions to working staffs.

As regards cultural activities are concerned MEWA

organizes cultural programmes either during the School programme or also doing special programmes on occasions like Onam festival, Vishu, Christmas day celebrations etc. During such occasions cultural programmes of Kerala are staged by budding artists and Vidyaniketan English School students.

Karnataka Sangeeth, Bharatha Natyam (classical dance) classes etc., are conducted at MEWA on a reasonable cost.

During Annual day celeberations programmes are staged at open auditoriums.  Almost all the students are given a chance to perform of their skills.

In December 2012 a new division of MEWA is born – Vidyaniketan Kids’ Academy. This is to take care of pre-primary education administration. Our search for super class facilities are always on … …
